** Top 3% Global-Ranked Podcast for Midlife Women **
Are you feeling weighed down by the physical and emotional changes that come with midlife? Do you wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and barely recognize the woman staring back at you? Feeling lost and wondering who you are now that your kids are grown?
Welcome to ’Making Life Beautiful Again,’ the podcast designed for midlife women ready to take control, rediscover their spark, and reignite their passion for life. Here, you’ll find the guidance and encouragement you need to navigate this unique season with confidence and grace.
Hey, I’m Michelle. An empty-nester, grandma, and Jesus lover. I know firsthand what it feels like to wrestle with self-doubt and the inner critic during midlife. It’s like being caught in a storm where your mind, body, and spirit are all in flux.
I tried every beauty trick in the book, hoping to feel better, but the mirror kept reflecting my fears: ’Am I still beautiful? Do I still have a purpose?’
Then one day, I had a breakthrough. If I’m created in the image of Christ, how could I ever see myself as anything less than worthy and beautiful? Those negative thoughts were lies, diminishing the incredible woman God designed me to be.
The truth is, our bodies and lives change, and so should our self-care routines. I’m here to help you embrace this new chapter with grace and confidence.
If you’re ready to find a simple, effective plan tailored for midlife women… If you want solutions that fit seamlessly into your life, bringing you more energy, helping you shed those extra pounds, lifting your mood, and improving your sleep – this podcast is for you!
So grab your water bottle, lace up your walking shoes, and let’s get started making life beautiful again!

Hello Beautiful!
Ever feel like you’re always starting over… no matter how hard you try to stay consistent?
You try a new routine, you get motivated, you tell yourself this time will be different… and then something shifts, you fall off, and you’re right back where you started.
It’s frustrating and if you’re honest, it starts to feel personal.
But what if the problem isn’t your discipline?
What if it’s something happening in those small, everyday moments you don’t even think about—like what you say to yourself when you look in the mirror?
In this episode, we’re talking about the shift from self-criticism to compassion and how that one change can completely impact your consistency, your habits, and the way you show up for yourself.
This episode is for the woman who:
is tired of starting over
feels like nothing is sticking anymore
doesn’t feel like herself in her body right now
and is ready for a different approach that actually works
By the end of this episode, you’ll understand:
why self-criticism has been keeping you stuck
what’s really happening in that quick “mirror moment”
how your thoughts are shaping your habits more than you realize
and one simple shift you can use immediately to start breaking the cycle
I also created a simple worksheet to help you walk this out in real time. You can find it inside the Making Life Beautiful Again Facebook group.
And I share a little about something I’m working on behind the scenes—a 5 Day Comparison Cleanse—because this goes deeper than most women realize.
XO,
Michelle

Hello Beautiful!
Have you ever lost weight… but didn’t actually feel better?
Maybe your energy dropped… your strength felt off… or your body just didn’t respond the way it used to.
If you’re in midlife, there’s a reason for that.
In this episode, we’re shifting the conversation around weight loss—because not all weight loss is a win.
Many women are unknowingly:
losing muscle instead of fat
slowing their metabolism
and training their body to hold onto fat
Even while doing everything “right.”
And that’s where the frustration comes in.
💛 In This Episode, You’ll Learn:
Why weight loss after 40 feels harder (and what’s actually happening in your body)
The difference between fat loss, muscle loss, and water weight
How your body can get stuck in “conservation mode” and resist fat loss
Why building muscle is essential for energy, metabolism, and longevity
How your food choices provide the building blocks for strength, skin, and vitality
Simple, realistic ways to support your body through nutrition and movement
This episode isn’t about eating less or pushing harder.
It’s about learning what to gain so your body can finally let go of what it doesn’t need.
Because when your body feels supported…fat loss becomes a result—not a constant struggle.

Michelle

Hello Beautiful!
Do you feel like you’re already behind on your goals this year?
Maybe you started strong, but somewhere along the way, you lost focus, got distracted, or stopped following through and now Q2 is here.
In this episode, we’re not starting over. We’re resetting.
You’ll learn how to let go of the shame from Q1, refocus on what actually matters, and build the kind of daily consistency that creates real momentum especially in midlife when you finally have the space to pursue your own goals.
This is not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters… consistently.

Hello Beautiful!
At some point, you start to notice how much of your day is spent taking care of everyone else… and how little time you spend with yourself.
You get everything done. You show up. Life keeps moving.
But then there’s a moment where you realize you’re not even sure what you like anymore. Or when that changed.
That’s what we’re getting into in this episode.
I share a moment where I had to be honest with myself in a way I had been avoiding and what came out of that.
My 5-minute practice gives you a way to check back in with yourself again.
Just a small space in your day where you start listening again and making decisions that actually feel like you.
That’s where things start to shift.
If you want something to help you walk this out, grab the worksheet inside the Facebook group for you.
And if you want more support, you can email me to set up a one-on-one session. The details are below.

Hello Beautiful!
Have you ever realized you are the one always behind the camera instead of in front of it?
Maybe you know God is calling you to show up more in this season, but when it comes to photos or video, you freeze. What if the issue is not that you are bad on camera at all? What if you simply need a few practical shifts that help your face come to life?
In this episode, we are talking about colors, necklines, and jewelry and how those simple choices can either brighten your face on camera or compete with it. Michelle shares how to think about what you wear near your face, how to test what works using photos, and why this matters for more than just style.
This episode is for the midlife woman who has spent years staying just a little bit hidden and is ready to build confidence, let herself be seen, and step more fully into this next season.
In this episode:
why less is more on camera
how to test colors and find what brings your face to life
why certain necklines can help elongate the neck and draw the eye upward
how to choose jewelry that reflects your personality without overpowering you
why your future generations deserve to see you, not just hear stories about you

This episode is a practical invitation for the woman who has stayed hidden a little too long. Your presence tells a story. So let yourself be seen.

Hello Beautiful!
Have you been keeping the peace… but quietly losing yourself?Maybe you’ve tried “just letting it go,” staying pleasant, and being the easy one—hoping things will get better if you don’t make waves.
But for so many midlife women, that strategy doesn’t bring peace… it brings pressure. Because what we call “being nice” often turns into shrinking, over-explaining, and swallowing what God may actually be asking us to confront with truth and love.
In this episode, I’m sitting down with Dr. Heather Burchfield, best-selling Amazon author of Not Here to Be Nice, to talk about the difference between kindness and people-pleasing, what “nice” can cost us spiritually, and how to set boundaries without the guilt spiral—while staying deeply feminine, beautiful, and Christ-centered.
This episode is for you if you’ve been feeling tired of being agreeable, tired of tolerating too much, or tired of disappearing in your own life. You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of your identity and strength in Christ, practical language you can use, and one truth + one small step you can take this week to stop shrinking and start showing up with grace and clarity.
Where do you notice yourself shrinking the most right now—family, friendships, church, or work?

Hello Beautiful!
Have you ever realized you’re the one keeping everybody else afloat… but you don’t feel like yourself anymore?
Here’s why it hasn’t been working: most of us try to solve midlife dullness by pushing harder, doing more, and waiting until life calms down. But life doesn’t really calm down… and “later” turns into a long time. So the parts of you that matter most end up in the attic, covered in dust.
In this episode, we’re talking about Dusting Yourself Off + Shining In This Next Season. I’ll help you name what you’ve stored away for later, recognize the inner critic voice that’s been guarding the door, and walk through a simple Attic Audit so you can decide what to Keep, Give, and Toss. Then you’ll choose one small step that starts polishing your shine again.
This episode is for you if you’ve been reliable for everyone else, but you’re ready to stop being last. You’ll leave with a next step that’s doable (not overwhelming), and a way to move forward without guilt.

Michelle

Hello Beautiful!
Have you ever walked away from a conversation with a man in your life and thought, “How did we just miss each other… again?”You said it one way. He heard it another way. And now you’re stuck in the same frustrating loop.
Here’s why it hasn’t been working: most advice about communication sounds great when everybody is calm… but real life conversations are usually happening when you’re tired, emotional, stressed, or already feeling unheard.
In this episode, I’m sitting down with Diane Lawbaugh, PAX coach and author of Don’t Let Misunderstanding Win, to talk about how to break the cycle of misunderstanding and create conversations where both men and women can win.
This episode is for you if you have a husband, dad, son, brother, or male coworker and you want less tension, less guessing, and more connection.
By the end, you’ll walk away with:
a fresh way to understand why misunderstandings happen so easily
what “winning” can look like for both sides, without keeping score
a simple, practical shift you can try the next time a conversation starts going sideways

Michelle

Quote from Article written by Diane for the Neighbors of Franklin Magazine: "Try this simple change for a less stressful Valentine’s Day. Ladies,
figure out what would make you happy on Valentine’s Day. Share that
information with your partner. Tell them WHAT you want and let them
figure out HOW to provide it. This sets up both people to win! He knows
the specific goal to achieve, and you get what you want. This removes
so much stress. Or, you can continue assuming your partner should
know what you want “if he really loved you.” You’ll be surprised at
what can happen with clear communication by removing assumptions.

Hello Beautiful!
Have you ever put on a color and instantly felt lighter… calmer… more confident? If so, you’re not imagining things—because midlife dressing isn’t just about what “looks good,” it’s about what supports you.
Here’s why the old approach hasn’t been working: we’ve been taught to pick colors like it’s a rulebook, when what we really need in our 40s and 50s is alignment. In your earlier decades, you often dressed for belonging. In midlife, you get to dress for who you are, who you aren’t, and the mood support your life requires now.
In this episode, we talk about:- Seasonal analysis asks: “What colors look best on you?”- Today asks: “What colors help you feel like you again?”- You’ll learn my simple 4-bucket approach to color and mood, plus a surprising story that proves color isn’t neutral.
This episode is for you if you’re a Christian midlife woman who feels like you’ve been dressing a little “invisible,” or you’re ready to build a signature style that feels authentic, confident, and supportive.
By the end, you’ll be able to:
Choose colors based on what you need emotionally (not what’s trendy)
Identify your “home” bucket and your “support” bucket for this season
Bring color in easily without overhauling your closet (hint: near your face matters most)
🎁 Get the worksheet: https://www.facebook.com/groups/makinglifebeautifulagain
💬 Quick question: Which bucket do you need more of right now—Lift + Light, Calm + Comfort, Dynamic + Rich, or Bold + Classic?
